Qian Youqing, Executive Vice President of the China Silk Association (CSA), visited High Fashion on 12 April to study the current industrial development of silk printing and dyeing, and its future prospects. Ms Kathy Zheng, General Manager of High Fashion (China), Mr Tao Yaoding, Deputy General Manager of High Fashion (China) and General Manager of High Fashion (China) Printing and Dyeing branch, and other senior staff accompanied Mr Qian's visit.Mr Qian and his team had an in-depth visit to understand the current development and experiences of High Fashion, a leading company in the field, so that he can promote further improvement in the development of cocoon and silk. His observations at High Fashion would form the basis for him to set out the future directions of the silk printing and dyeing industry for the government, and formulate solutions to tackle the major challenges faced by the industry.Mr Qian and his team visited High Fashion's dyeing, finishing, traditional and digital printing workshops, and gained a deep understanding about High Fashion's latest plans and developments in areas such as digital empowerment and lean management. They also discussed ways of enhancing digitalisation within the silk industry with High Fashion's top management team.Silk is Hangzhou's icon. The rise of digital economy has redefined the future development of the silk industry. Under this new business environment, companies must be able to identify new development opportunities. High Fashion's company leaders then made a detailed introduction about how High Fashion adapts to the needs and policies under this new era, and its effort in driving innovation.During the meeting, Mr Tao introduced High Fashion's printing and dyeing technology, and its goals in green manufacturing, environmental protection and sustainable development. He stressed that High Fashion will spare no effort to build a harmonious enterprise-nature relationship, so that we can pave a green path that is beneficial to the economy, society and natural environment.Ms Zheng also discussed High Fashion's current plan and measures in corporate digitalisation with Mr Qian and his team. After understanding High Fashion's current targets and directions, Mr Qian and his team gave high recognition to High Fashion's technologies and philosophy. They also put forward their new expectations for automation and smart manufacturing in the silk industry.CSA's visit not only provided guidance and support to High Fashion's work, but it also recognised High Fashion's position as a "frontier" in the development of the silk industry. High Fashion will take this opportunity to continue to innovate and push for transformations, enhance the industrial environment and strengthen its high quality silk industry chain.

Leaders of the Hangzhou Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology Visited High Fashion (China) to Inspect the Company's Work Progress in Intelligent and Digital Transformation
In order to further drive digital transformation, and promote the implementation of China's plan on building Hangzhou as the First City with a Digital Economy in China, leaders of the Hangzhou Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology went to the business park of High Fashion (China) on 13 March to do a site visit regarding High Fashion's supply chain integration project. Ms Kathy Zheng, General Manager of High Fashion (China) and Secretary of Party Committee, Mr Ye Gonghui, Deputy General Manager of High Fashion (China) and the managers of High Fashion's digital transformation projects attended the meeting.During the meeting, managers of High Fashion's digital transformation projects reported the progress of implementation, and elaborated on the blueprint and detailed plan of the project.Based on the company's two-year strategic development plan, High Fashion launched its digital transformation project in 2018. Under the objectives of "Moving online, Data-driven, Intelligence and Automation", High Fashion already started to enhance its soft skills and hardware, and our progress is evident. The first stage was completed in 2018, including 9 projects touching on smart manufacturing, financial integration and internal control (human resources, finance, OA, etc.), basic databases, big data platforms, etc.In 2019, High Fashion will step up its efforts to promote digital transformation, upgrade its core business and realise high quality development. The second stage will focus on three areas - smart manufacturing, supply chain management and big data platforms. A total of 25 projects are expected to be completed in this stage.Ms Zheng explained that High Fashion's digital transformation is nothing like developing a simple digital infrastructure. It penetrates into all aspects of production and management of the entire industrial chain of printing and dyeing, garment manufacturing and retailing. These measures will greatly enhance the efficiency of the company's internal resource allocation and reduce internal transaction costs.Therefore, not only should traditional manufacturing companies improve their competitiveness through digitalisation, but they should also realise that the role of digitalisation in companies has changed from being an extra change driver to a fundamental lynchpin. The support we receive from the government has been key to the successful implementation of High Fashion's digital transformation project.Having listened to our latest progress, leaders of the Commission spoke highly of High Fashion's endeavours in its transformation and upgrading, and its unwavering pursuit for improvement. They also provided constructive advice on how High Fashion should seize future opportunities and tackle challenges along its pathway towards further digitalisation.As a forerunner of the silk and garment manufacturing industry, High Fashion has the abilities, solid foundation and courage required for transformation and upgrading. The spirit of innovation lies at our core. We hope that through continuously pushing for digital transformation, High Fashion can become the benchmark of digital development and intelligent transformation within the silk and garment manufacturing industry.

New Year, New Beginning | We Dream Big and We Take Actions
All High Fashion-ers are working hard for their personal aspirations and for High Fashion's goals.14 February 2019, the tenth day of the first Lunar month, marked the beginning of a new Lunar year. It was also the day when High Fashion-ers resumed work after the Chinese New Year. A ceremony celebrating the fresh start of the year was held in the headquarters of High Fashion (China). Ms Zheng Lu, General Manager of High Fashion (China) and Secretary of Party Committee, Ms Shen Qiongang, Group Human Resources Director, Mr Ye Gonghui, Deputy General Manager of High Fashion (China), Mr Chen Weihua, Chief Financial Officer of High Fashion (China), Ms Pan Fengjiao, Personnel and Administration Director of High Fashion (China), members of the top and middle management teams attended the ceremony to share the joy, excitement and hope for the future with all employees.The ceremony began with loud drumrolls, followed by a spectacular lion dance. Mr Yu Guangming, Deputy General Manager of Production of Garment Branch and Mr Tao Yaoding, Executive Deputy General Manager of Printing and Dyeing Branch, dotted the eyes of the lion to officially kick off the festive celebration. The lively and uplifting lion dance performance symbolised that High Fashion will flourish and prosper in the year ahead.Following the performance, new year blessings and sweet candies were handed out to all employees. Everyone cheered with passion and exchanged good wishes with each other. Happiness and excitement filled every corner of the building. We are sincerely grateful to all customers for their long-term support and trust, and we would like to thank every High Fashion-er for his/her hard work. On the first day of work resumption, workers of the Jinhua factory, Jieyi and Industry-Learning-Research base returned to work as scheduled.In the past year, High Fashion focused on key initiatives and carried out restructuring. Through adopting a diverse development model and an internet-oriented approach, we have fully integrated our full industry chain resources, achieved breakthroughs in product innovation, smart manufacturing and sustainability. Our parallel development in culture and technology enabled us to reach new heights, and showcased our capabilities and creativity in the process of enterprise transformation, upgrading and sustainable development.This year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China, as well as the beginning of High Fashion's next 40-year journey. This is the year for us to build ourselves into the top international fashion manufacturing enterprise, promote green and smart manufacturing, and lead the green development of silk. It is an important year for us to implement the "new silk, green manufacturing, more eco-friendly" strategy and WL District's "full industry chain creative dual platform" development. This is the year for innovation and sharing.We will not forget why we started. It's time for us to set sail towards the future. In 2019, not only will we be dreamchasers, but we will strive to become a more valuable High Fashion-er. Striving for success remains the theme of this year. Every great undertaking begins with a dream and succeeds with hard work. But dreams do not come true on their own - we must take every step steadily, lay out reasonable plans and clear goals, and work toward our targets with a high standard in mind and a striving attitude. We must work hard, take actions and execute our plans in order to realise our dreams.We have great ambitions, and we keep our feet on the ground. In this coming year, let us dream big and strive for excellence, let us face every challenge with a fighting spirit, face every opportunity with a brand new outlook, and start our new journey with high spirits. Recently, Mr Feng Renqiang, Vice Chairman of Hangzhou People's Political Consultative Conference and his team visited High Fashion (China) to launch the "Heart Joining New Year's Eve Visiting" campaign.Ms Zheng Lu, General Manager of High Fashion (China) and Secretary of Party Committee, Mr Ye Gonghui, Deputy General Manager of High Fashion (China), Ms Shen Qiongfang, Group Human Resources Director and Mr Chen Weihua, Chief Financial Officer of High Fashion (China), and Mr Tao Yaoding, Executive Deputy General Manager of High Fashion (China) Printing and Dyeing Branch, and leaders from the management team accompanied the visit. The government leaders visited our digital printing and print finishing workshops, inspected our online monitoring system for water reuse, garment production workshops, and the haute couture 3D showroom of our retail brand "Ai Si". We provided an introduction for our different business divisions to outline our current infrastructural developments and core businesses.In recent years, High Fashion has seized the new opportunities brought about by various government policies. With our modernised and fully vertical industry chain as a strong basis, we have developed new services combining cultural and technological innovations through supply chain sharing, industrial support and resource integration. Mr Feng expressed high recognition and keen interest in High Fashion's innovative spirit. Government leaders also praised the rapid development of High Fashion's business park. They complimented our philosophy of integrating technology into development, and the fact that our haute couture brand "Ai Si" has gained a leading position in fashion industry.A company's development relies highly on the joint efforts of the government and society.
