Qian Youqing, Executive Vice President of the China Silk Association and His Team Visited High Fashion to Study the Current Industrial Development of Silk Printing and Dyeing

Qian Youqing, Executive Vice President of the China Silk Association (CSA), visited High Fashion on 12 April to study the current industrial development of silk printing and dyeing, and its future prospects. Ms Kathy Zheng, General Manager of High Fashion (China), Mr Tao Yaoding, Deputy General Manager of High Fashion (China) and General Manager of High Fashion (China) Printing and Dyeing branch, and other senior staff accompanied Mr Qian's visit.

Mr Qian and his team had an in-depth visit to understand the current development and experiences of High Fashion, a leading company in the field, so that he can promote further improvement in the development of cocoon and silk. His observations at High Fashion would form the basis for him to set out the future directions of the silk printing and dyeing industry for the government, and formulate solutions to tackle the major challenges faced by the industry. 


Mr Qian and his team visited High Fashion's dyeing, finishing, traditional and digital printing workshops, and gained a deep understanding about High Fashion's latest plans and developments in areas such as digital empowerment and lean management. They also discussed ways of enhancing digitalisation within the silk industry with High Fashion's top management team.

Silk is Hangzhou's icon. The rise of digital economy has redefined the future development of the silk industry. Under this new business environment, companies must be able to identify new development opportunities. High Fashion's company leaders then made a detailed introduction about how High Fashion adapts to the needs and policies under this new era, and its effort in driving innovation.

During the meeting, Mr Tao introduced High Fashion's printing and dyeing technology, and its goals in green manufacturing, environmental protection and sustainable development. He stressed that High Fashion will spare no effort to build a harmonious enterprise-nature relationship, so that we can pave a green path that is beneficial to the economy, society and natural environment.


Ms Zheng also discussed High Fashion's current plan and measures in corporate digitalisation with Mr Qian and his team. After understanding High Fashion's current targets and directions, Mr Qian and his team gave high recognition to High Fashion's technologies and philosophy. They also put forward their new expectations for automation and smart manufacturing in the silk industry. 


CSA's visit not only provided guidance and support to High Fashion's work, but it also recognised High Fashion's position as a "frontier" in the development of the silk industry. High Fashion will take this opportunity to continue to innovate and push for transformations, enhance the industrial environment and strengthen its high quality silk industry chain.
